Who handles your data

The data controller is THE WISE BRANDS LLC, registered at 11820 Miramar Pkwy, Unit 204, Miramar, FL 33025 (United States), EIN 98-1896488. For anything to do with your data, write to info@thewisebrands.io.

This policy covers this website (thewisebrands.io) and the client portal (app.thewisebrands.io).

What data we handle and why

• If you get in touch. Your name, your email and whatever you tell us about your brand. We use it to reply and to prep the call. The legal basis is your own request and our interest in answering it.
• If you're a client. Contact and billing details, your company details and the access you give us to work: collaborator on your store, read access to your ad account, working folders. The legal basis is the contract between us.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps server logs with the IP address, browser and time of every visit. They keep the site running and help us spot abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping it secure.

We don't buy lists, we don't do ad profiling and we don't make automated decisions about you.

Cookies

This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels. The client portal does use one technical session cookie, the one needed to keep you signed in while you're inside; without it you can't log in.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers we need to deliver the service, and always under a data processing agreement:

• Vercel — hosting for the site and the portal.
• Prisma — the database behind the client portal.
• Resend — sends the portal's emails.
• Google — Workspace and Drive, where the assets are stored and delivered.
• Slack — day-to-day communication with the clients who use it.

We don't sell or pass your data to anyone else. We'd only hand it to an authority if the law required it.

Where it's processed

We're a US company and so are several of our providers, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. When that happens with data from people in the EU, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on the adequacy framework that applies to that provider.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that don't become a contract: up to a year from the last message.
• Client data: for as long as the relationship lasts, and after that for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Server logs: a few months, depending on the provider.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it or delete it, object to the processing, ask us to restrict it or to hand it back in a portable format. Just write to info@thewisebrands.io; we get back to you within a month at most.

If you're in the European Union and you think we've got it wrong, you can complain to your data protection authority. In Spain that's the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

If you live in California, you can also exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights the same way. We don't sell or share personal information as that law defines those terms.

Security

Access to the portal is encrypted, passwords are stored using key derivation functions, and only the team working on your account sees your information. If there were ever a breach that affects you, we'd tell you.

Minors

We work B2B. This site isn't aimed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date above. If the change is significant, we email our clients.
